Studio Design Consultant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Studio Design Consultant to join the Studio Design team at Fairmont Homes!

About the role

Reporting to the Select Studio Manager, you will be responsible for supporting our clients through their selection process, including interior and externals, in our modern and stylish Select Home Studio located at Kent Town.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Providing our customers with an exceptional design and selection experience, aligned to their plans and inclusions
  • Developing effective relationships with key stakeholders across the business and ensuring the selections process is integrated accurately and timely into the pre-construction process
  • Developing and maintaining Fairmont Homes product knowledge and managing effective relationships with suppliers

About you

We are looking for a team player who is creative and passionate about design and strives to deliver an exceptional experience to our customers.

You will have:

  • Demonstrated experience in a selections role in the housing and construction industry
  • Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge in interior design, with experience in cabinetry design being highly desirable
  • Understanding of the building and construction industry and construction processes
  • Excellent organisational, planning and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to build positive relationships and communicate with a diverse range of people
  • Intermediate level of skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and email)
